Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living’s Ivy at Hawaii Kai in Honolulu is seeking a Move-In Coordinator to support the smooth transition of new residents and assist the Marketing Department with administrative tasks, inquiries, tours, and event coordination.

You will qualify prospects, coordinate tours and deposits, maintain the resident directory, and ensure accurate move-in paperwork while delivering high-quality service to residents and families in a warm senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience working with seniors, preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Able to be flexible, adapt to change, make decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the property’s products and services to represent to referral sources and prospects.
• Give community tours as a backup to Marketing and provide information per marketing process.
• Qualify prospects and convert tours to deposits using the sales process as needed.
• Assist with organizing, planning, and managing all marketing events.
• Attend and participate in resident, family inquiry, and referral source events.
• Liaise with residents and families to ensure smooth transitions to the community.
• Follow the new move-in checklist accurately.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork and build the new resident file.
• Create and maintain the Resident Directory.
