Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care by administering daily medications with compassion and dignity. This role plays a key part in ensuring residents receive their medications safely and on time.

You will follow the MAR, adhere to the Six Rights, and use the eMAR system daily, while communicating with clinical leadership and providing direct resident care on shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and facility policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford's Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
