Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support resident care and manage daily medication needs with compassion and dignity. You will follow the MAR, adhere to the Six Rights, and use the eMAR system under clinical guidance.

We value teamwork and leadership, with opportunities to contribute to a supportive community. CPR/First Aid certification and senior care experience are required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least 1 year of experience in senior care.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and facility policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident care and meds.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission on shift and lead by example.
