Bickford Senior Living in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care by accurately administering daily medications with compassion and dignity, helping residents live life to the fullest.

You will follow physician orders, uphold the Six Rights of medication administration, and use the eMAR system, while collaborating with clinical leadership and supervising care teammates to deliver quality resident care.

Competenze

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take state-specific additional training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to learn and use the eMAR system.

Mansioni

• Accurately follow MAR and physician orders for med administration.
• Observe Six rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care.
• Supervise non-licensed care team as needed.
