Cogir Senior Living, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Owings Mills, MD to preserve the integrity of our senior living communities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and appliances while delivering proactive, courteous service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• HVAC, drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, floor care and landscaping skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals, tools, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and appliance repairs.
• Complete repairs promptly following safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new resident move-ins.
• Maintain walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Keep maintenance logs and records.
• Coordinate with fire marshal, inspectors, and jurisdictions; adhere to codes.
