Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to maintain and repair interior and exterior areas. You will follow directives from the Director of Environmental Services, handle safety procedures, post warnings, and ensure clean, functional spaces across the community.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, basic painting, and ability to troubleshoot plumbing and electrical issues. A high school diploma, valid license, and English proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over with work authorization.
• High school diploma or equivalent (if over 18).
• Background screenings as required by regulations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Repair resident furniture, fixtures and common areas.
• Paint interior/exterior surfaces and handle basic landscaping tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing and HVAC related issues.
• Move residents during emergencies and assist team members when needed.
