MBK Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to care for interior and exterior community spaces, following established guidelines and safety policies. You will perform cleaning, repairs, painting, landscaping, and basic facility maintenance, ensuring safe, attractive environments for residents and staff.

Hours vary (PRN) with hourly pay between $23.00 and $24.00. This role requires English fluency, high school education, and the ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Formación

• Age 18 or over and work permit as required
• High school diploma or equivalent (if over 18)
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Health screening and negative TB test results within the required timeframe
• Valid driver's license as required by state
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to safely operate a variety of tools and equipment
• Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and property as directed by work orders or supervisors
• Keep work areas safe by posting signs and removing hazards
• Use PPE and report health, safety or sanitation concerns
• Monitor the security of the community, doors and entry/exit points
• Keep chemical storage and maintenance areas clean, labeled, and organized
• Follow policies for storing and using chemicals and disposing waste
• Follow PPE policies when handling chemicals or cleaning
• Address daily work orders and maintenance tasks to maintain buildings and furnishings
• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and fixture issues
• Plan and perform interior and exterior painting and landscaping; maintain pools/spas
