Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to care for interior and exterior community areas. The role follows directives from the Director of Environmental Services and includes routine upkeep, repairs, and safety compliance.

Hours are Sunday–Thursday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with a pay rate of $26–$32 per hour (DOE). The position requires English literacy, 18+ age, and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ or work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• TB test results within 6 months or 7 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license as applicable.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and property as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Monitor security of the community and entry/exit doors.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized and properly stored with chemicals labeled.
