Job summary

LCB Senior Living’s The Residence at Shelburne Bay in Shelburne, VT seeks a Maintenance Assistant to perform routine upkeep, repairs and cleaning to ensure a safe, well-maintained residence. You will coordinate with external vendors and support housekeeping tasks as needed, contributing to a high-quality living environment.

The role requires knowledge of maintenance functions, OSHA safety standards, and a valid driver’s license, with 4+ years of maintenance experience preferred and HVAC

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance functions and techniques and safety regulations (OSHA)
• Four or more years of maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare
• High school diploma or GED; HVAC certificate preferred
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of residence facilities and equipment
• Maintain grounds and building to ensure safety and appearance
• Work with outside contractors when needed
• Clean resident rooms and common areas (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping) and assist with housekeeping/laundry as necessary
• Replace light bulbs and manage waste disposal per policy
