LCB Senior Living’s The Residence at Cedar Dell in Dartmouth, MA, is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team, ensure safety and facility readiness, and coordinate with external vendors. This on-site role manages budgets, preventative maintenance, and safety plans to support resident well-being.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of maintenance experience (healthcare preferred), OSHA/fire code knowledge, and HVAC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Four or more years maintenance experience required, preferably in health care.
• HVAC certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and fire codes.

Responsibilities

• Promote mission and core values; interact with residents, visitors and staff.
• Manage maintenance department within budget and policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs; ensure safety and accessibility.
• Supervise and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and bids; oversee contractors.
• Develop and monitor preventative maintenance and fire safety plans.
• Maintain inventories and vehicle service; liaise with inspectors.
