Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community safe and welcoming. You will perform routine maintenance and housekeeping around grounds, buildings and units, completing repair requests with cost awareness and timeliness.

The role supports essential systems like plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, with opportunities to refresh rooms and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations knowledge.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around the community grounds as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment and vehicles promptly and cost‑effectively.
• Duties may include basic plumbing, electrical work, furniture repairs, painting and refurbishing, HVAC and appliance repairs, and making ready rooms as assigned.
