Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our residence safe and attractive for residents who call it home. You will maintain and repair equipment, operating systems, structures and grounds, following safety guidelines and company policies.

You’ll complete work orders, document maintenance activities, and coordinate with vendors as needed. Experience in electrical, HVAC and general maintenance is preferred; flexibility to work evenings or weekends may be required to ensure

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety.
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment.
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs.
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors.
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
