Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks across the community, ensuring timely completion of service requests for repairs to grounds, buildings, and furnishings.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of maintenance experience, basic knowledge of plumbing/electrical systems, OSHA life-safety awareness, and good communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• One-year maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life-safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around community grounds and buildings.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, homes, equipment, and vehicles promptly and cost-effectively.
• Carry out routine tasks such as fixing wall/floor coverings, furniture repair, basic plumbing and electrical work, and preparing rooms for turnover.
