Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle upkeep of the community, including painting, carpentry, electrical and HVAC tasks to keep facilities in top condition.

You will respond to work orders, perform inspections, and coordinate with contractors. The role requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; on-site work with a strong safety mindset; competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic including measurement, estimating and averages.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Experience with safe handling and use of tools in construction, maintenance, and landscaping.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and drive company or personal vehicle as required.
• Two years hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing move-in ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning, basic repairs, housekeeping).
• Manage maintenance needs to meet company standards and prevent issues.
• Perform data collection and submission for preventative maintenance.
• Handle work orders and prioritize customer service requests.
• Conduct daily community inspections and keep grounds clean.
