Holiday by Atria - Woods At Canco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a senior living community in Portland, ME. This role requires hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, with up to 50-lb lifting and driving responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc. required.
• 3+ years of multi-family property management or building maintenance preferred.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements, estimates, and averages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare move-in apartments with painting, carpet cleaning, repairs, and housekeeping.
• Oversee maintenance needs to keep community in top condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance and data collection submissions.
• Handle work orders and prioritize requests from residents.
• Conduct daily inspections of grounds and common areas.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and other repairs as needed.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment like fire safety systems and water heaters.
• Coordinate with contractors to meet community needs.
• Organize maintenance storage and tool/equipment care.
• Ensure compliance with laws and vehicle policy; may drive company or personal vehicle.
