Job summary

Hoosier Village in Indianapolis, IN, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep our campus buildings and grounds in excellent condition, ensuring residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, replace filters, install appliances, and assist contractors. Work hours are Monday–Friday with weekend rotation, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years general maintenance experience with plumbing and/or electrical experience.
• HVAC Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the community's buildings and grounds in good condition year-round.
• Completes work orders with corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Documents resolutions and closes work orders after completion.
• Troubleshoots problems with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and related systems.
• Assists contractors under supervisor direction.
• Performs renovation/ turnover maintenance including cleaning, patching, painting to meet timelines and resident selections.
• Replaces HVAC filters, bulbs, services water softeners, and handles other repairs.
