Job summary

Dimensions Living Green Bay is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance and repair activities within the assisted living community. You will lead maintenance staff, develop preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate with outside vendors to keep facilities safe and well-maintained for residents and staff.

In this role you will ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations, manage inventory, and collaborate with other departments to align upkeep with community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Management of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure maintenance aligns with community goals.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
