Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Director to supervise and coordinate the maintenance department, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. The role includes keeping the community sanitary, attractive, and safe, and overseeing building systems and laundry services.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory maintenance experience in LTC settings and a passion for working with seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Minimum of one year of prior maintenance supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance department activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain the community in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Oversee electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems to prevent hazards.
• Provide quality laundry service.
