Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Line Cook to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold foods for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special events in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, maintaining safety and sanitation, and collaborating with residents and staff to ensure high-quality meals. Requires Food Handler’s Permit, state sanitation certificate, and 3–4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• State sanitation certificate.
• Servsafe training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods to order with attention to quality and safety.
• Follow standardized recipes and production sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with allergy and foodborne illness training compliance.
• Work with residents and staff in a senior living/healthcare setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
