Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Line Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events within a senior living environment. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and use a full range of cooking techniques to deliver high-quality meals for residents.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a current Food Handler’s Permit, and prefer ServSafe knowledge. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and follow standardized recipes and production sheets.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety per regulations and company standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook to order foods with accuracy and speed.
• May operate grill stations and serve customers at a la carte.
• Follow recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking, and presenting dishes.
• Ensure high quality of service and safety in all food preparation activities.
• Receive inventory, prep meals, and adhere to allergy and safety training requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and proper food storage.
