Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English).
• Must read and follow written instructions and recipes.
• Ability to use basic functions of a computer.
• Demonstrates patience and compassion to senior adults.
• Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate a variety of hot and cold foods for meals and events.
• Follow approved recipes and quality standards for taste and appearance.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety in accordance with regulations.
• Care for residents with attention to dietary needs and special diets.
• Operate kitchen equipment and assist with inventory, prep, and cleanup.
