Cedarhurst Senior Living in Canton, GA is seeking a Lead Cook/Sous Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations and support dining services. You will lead food preparation, ensure safety standards, manage inventory, and train staff to deliver high-quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years experience in culinary production.
• Formal culinary training preferred.
• Food Manager Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Applicable state/county licensure preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Oversee kitchen stock and inventory management.
• Maintain kitchen organization with the Dining Services Director.
• Assist in orientation and ongoing training of dining team.
• Instruct staff on operation, maintenance, and cleaning of dining equipment.
• Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and serving per guidelines.
• Monitor food safety and sanitation logs and documentation.
