Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in North Carolina seeks a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to maintain dishware and kitchen cleanliness for our residents’ meals. You will support the culinary team in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a sanitary, well-organized kitchen.

Ideal candidates may have some dishwashing experience, a Food Handler Card, and the ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area including floors.
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Clean and sanitize food prep surfaces and storage areas as needed.
• Support kitchen staff during meal prep by replenishing supplies.
• Replenish chemicals, towel and soap dispensers as required.
