Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to support our community's restaurant by keeping dishes, utensils and cookware clean for residents and staff. You will help ensure a smooth dining experience by maintaining sanitation and coordinating with kitchen staff.

The role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to resident dining experiences and learn about senior living operations. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced kitchens is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to protocols.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area (sweeping/mopping).
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste promptly.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Sanitize food prep surfaces, storage areas, and equipment as needed.
• Support kitchen staff by replenishing supplies and equipment.
• Resupply chemicals, towels, and soap for sanitary operations.
