Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to support our community's restaurant. You will ensure clean pots and dishware for meal service and help maintain a welcoming dining environment for residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Previous senior living or healthcare experience is desirable, with opportunities for growth and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months experience in a dishwasher or kitchen support role is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment per protocols.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area ( floors, mats, pails ).
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep kitchen organized.
• Assist kitchen staff during meal prep and service by replenishing supplies.
• Replenish chemicals, towel dispensers, and soap dispensers for sanitary operations.
