Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) for our community restaurant. You will help ensure our culinary team has clean pots, pans, and dishware so meals reach residents hot and ready.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing, drying and storing items, keeping the dishwashing area clean, and assisting the kitchen staff during meal prep. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; a Food Handler Card is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card a plus.
• Experience in dishwasher or kitchen support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors.
• Promptly remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep the kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, storage areas, and equipment as needed.
• Support the kitchen staff during meal preparation and service by replenishing supplies and equipment.
