Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Cook to prepare meals per approved menus, supervise dietary staff when the Dining Services Director is away, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen. The role requires Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days, and experience in dining services.

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. You will monitor temperatures, follow safety protocols, and participate in in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in dining services.
• Must be Serv-Safe certified, or be willing to complete certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must possess the ability to read, write, and make simple calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Report faulty equipment and broken items; remove from service.
• Take and record food temperatures three times daily.
