Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dining services professional to prepare and present menu items, maintain a clean kitchen, and supervise staff when needed. The role requires Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days, and a solid understanding of food service operations.

There is a need to follow safety and sanitation standards, manage temperatures, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in dining services.
• Serv-Safe certification required or to be completed within 60 days of hire.
• Basic understanding of food service operations including familiarity with other dietary position duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times, including floors.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Directors and Supervisors.
• Attend required in-service and staff meetings.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
