Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the United States seeks a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to keep the dining areas well supplied with clean dishware for residents, ensuring smooth meal service in a fast-paced kitchen. You will contribute to a hygienic, efficient dining operation and resident experience.

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, drying, and organizing items, supporting staff during meal prep, and maintaining sanitary conditions. Prior kitchen experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months in a dishwasher or kitchen support role is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment per protocols.
• Dry and store cleaned items in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, floors, and equipment.
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep the kitchen organized.
• Support kitchen staff during meal prep and service.
