Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to keep dishware clean and available for the culinary team in our community dining operations. You will help ensure residents receive meals with proper service and care, supporting a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, teamwork, and reliability, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, in a on-site setting within Virginia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card a plus.
• 6–12 months in dishwasher/kitchen support is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment per protocols.
• Dry and store cleaned items in designated areas.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and floors mopped.
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste to maintain organization.
• Clean mats and garbage pails; sanitize prep surfaces and storage areas.
• Assist kitchen staff by replenishing supplies and equipment as needed.
