Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks a driven Business Development professional to lead referrals and move-ins for our senior living communities. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Resident Program teams to plan events, cultivate relationships with families and healthcare professionals, and expand key referral networks.

You will educate referral sources about services, manage contracts, and work closely with the Executive and Community Relations Directors to meet quarterly move-in objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, four-year college or university.
• 2-3+ years of experience in sales/admission in senior living or related field.
• Fluent English for speaking, reading, and writing with all stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive as an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and implement events with Sales and Marketing teams to attract prospective residents (seminars, speakers, themed events, family nights).
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families and professional care providers.
• Identify and grow key referral sources, maintaining relationships and handling referrals in the sales process.
• Achieve move-in objectives by generating professional referrals needed to meet financial targets.
• Provide product-service education to trade organizations, hospital departments and physicians.
• Participate in senior-living industry societies and activities as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Community Relations Director and Executive Director on strategic sales plans and quarterly targets.
• Plan territory call objectives to build and sustain community resource networks.
• Communicate progress to executives and maintain up-to-date contact records in CRM.
• Explain basic contract terms and ensure confidentiality; support special projects as needed.
