Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Community Relations Director to lead sales and marketing across a senior living community. You will identify referral sources, build relationships, conduct tours, and drive occupancy growth while coordinating with the regional sales team.

You will manage daily inquiries from residents, families, and prospects, ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborate on marketing strategies to meet occupancy targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in relational sales, preferably in assisted living and/or healthcare settings.
• A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors.
• Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to manage time effectively, high initiative, and good judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and capacity to work evenings and/or weekends if needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement all sales and marketing strategies for the community, aligned with company objectives.
• Design, implement, and facilitate the community's annual marketing plan with input from leadership and marketing teams.
• Develop and manage the lead base, responding to inquiries remotely and in real-time.
• Maintain and improve occupancy and revenue according to business plans.
• Conduct walk-in and scheduled tours with prospective residents or families.
• Provide sales activity reports with lead status, closing needs, and next steps.
• Follow up with potential residents and referral sources.
• Maintain CRM accuracy (Yardi) and oversee sales team performance.
• Participate in outreach events, networking meetings, trade shows, and community functions.
• Manage marketing budget and pricing for ads, directories, social media, events, and memberships.
