Job summary

Baywood Court in Castro Valley, CA is hiring for a Part-time Weekend Evening Shift Front Desk role. The position requires weekend coverage (Sat & Sun 4pm-12am) and availability to cover other shifts. Pay is $21.50 per hour; drug screen, TB test and background checks are required.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, is computer proficient (Microsoft Office, security monitoring system), and can handle emergencies calmly while coordinating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes residents and visitors professionally, coordinates check-ins and appointments, and responds to inquiries.
• Receives incoming calls using proper phone etiquette and transfers to appropriate departments.
• Presents a professional appearance and demeanor greeting residents, visitors and staff.
• Sorts mail and packages.
• Monitors security cameras and notifies management or authorities of safety issues.
• Responds to resident emergencies and assists responders.
