Job summary

Baywood Court in Castro Valley, CA is seeking full-time Waitstaff to join our active, not-for-profit senior living community. Starting pay is $19.28/hour and weekend/holiday availability is required.

No experience is necessary—training will be provided and you will play a key role in serving residents with care and respect. Responsibilities include assisting in all dining service tasks, taking orders, setting tables, bussing, and cleaning areas.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, understand and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to work with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all dining service functions including taking orders, basic food prep, setting tables, buffet setup, serving, bussing and cleanup.
• Enter order information into POS system for resident meals tracking.
• Clean up preparation and serving areas, tables and place settings.
• Maintain room and dining area cleanliness and organization.
• Support colleagues to ensure smooth service and resident satisfaction.
