Job summary

Baywood Court in Castro Valley, CA is hiring a Full Time Medication Technician/Caregiver for 10:00am - 6:30pm with weekend availability. The role focuses on medication administration, resident care, and adherence to RCFE regulations. Must pass screenings and have open weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to write and document in the ADL forms.
• Current First Aid Certification - must have prior to on-floor training

Responsibilities

• Receive medications from family, pharmacy or resident.
• Ensure that each medication has a signed physician’s order.
• Transcribe each physician’s medication order onto MAR correctly.
• Ensure that all pharmacy labels are written in accordance with Title 22 RCFE Regulations.
• Caregiver duties: light housekeeping, dressing/bathing/assisting with restroom.
