Job summary

The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL is recruiting a hospitality-focused Director of Food & Beverage to lead the Community’s F&B operations. This hands-on role ensures top-tier service, quality, and compliance with safety standards while driving guest satisfaction and occupancy.

You will supervise the F&B department, develop upscale culinary programs, manage budgets, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree (in culinary arts program preferred).
• Successful completion of recognized food safety course.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as executive chef or in similar roles (hotel, restaurant, club).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in administration and management of food service systems.
• Senior living community experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an upscale culinary services program to create a positive guest experience.
• Supervise the Food & Beverage Department, including interviewing and hiring, planning, directing work, and evaluating performance.
• Plan and develop menu cycles compliant with nutritional/dietary criteria and local regulations.
• Meet or exceed established budgetary and financial guidelines.
• Oversee hands-on cooking, serving, and dishwashing as necessary.
• Ensure trained, properly uniformed, and talented staff.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and revise operations for improvement.
• Contribute to a culture where decisions drive revenue and occupancy.
