Job summary

The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor with a hospitality focus. This full-time role serves as the primary Food & Beverage contact until management arrives, verifies schedules, checks deliveries, and covers dining room areas as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating resident seating, leading pre-shift briefings, assigning staff, recording meal counts, and using the POS system. Benefits include PTO, medical, and more.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Host/Hostess or Lead Server experience in a fine restaurant, club, hotel, or similar.
• Ability to interpret and explain the menu and coordinate meal service.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors and subordinates.
• State health and/or alcohol compliance card required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate seating of residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.
• Lead daily pre-shift lineup for dinner service and prepare staff for service.
• Schedule stations and assignments for wait staff and check-out servers to meet standards.
• Record meal counts, reservations and additional charges; operate the POS system.
• Consult with Director of Food & Beverage regarding dining room status.
