Job summary

Lifeatheritage is seeking an Executive Director to lead a community, translating organizational strategy into daily practice that delivers high-quality resident care and compliant operations.

You will partner with Home Office leadership to drive financial stewardship, workforce performance, and service excellence across licensed care and campus services, while maintaining a strong leadership pipeline and risk-management culture.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered HFA license in the state of operation; license must remain active throughout employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in health services administration or related field preferred; executive-level experience considered where allowed by law.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior-living, or comparable regulated healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident-centered, safe and respectful services across licensed care and campus programs.
• Maintain relationships with residents and families; ensure complaints are investigated and documented.
• Coordinate with nursing, medical, therapy, social services, dining, and other leaders to monitor outcomes and admissions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and professional standards.
• Lead the community leadership team with structured communication and accountability.
• Oversee facilities, information systems, contracts, and life safety to support safe operations.
• Develop leadership and workforce through staffing strategy, onboarding, development, and succession planning.
