Job summary

LCS is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the Cypress of Charlotte, a Life Plan community in Charlotte, NC. You will provide overall leadership and direction, ensuring residents thrive and employees feel valued and engaged.

This role partners with residents, families, employees, and leaders to drive exceptional experiences and operational success across independent living, memory care, assisted living, home health, and skilled nursing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, senior living, hospitality, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related environment.
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, and business partners.
• Experience leading a senior living Life Plan community.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for community operations
• Monitor key operational metrics and develop action plans to address opportunities and challenges
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as organizational policies and standards
• Collaborate with regional and corporate leaders to execute organizational strategies & initiatives
• Establish a strong leadership presence and foster a culture built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and respect
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners
• Serve as a visible, engaged, and strategic leader within the community & local market
• Champion the organization’s mission, values, and strategic priorities
• Ensure the community consistently delivers exceptional resident experience
