Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a System Director of Dining Services to oversee dining across five Senior Living communities, focusing on hospitality and resident experience.

The role partners with regional operations to deliver exceptional food, service, and financial results while developing leaders and maintaining client relationships. Willingness to travel among communities is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in senior living dining, hospitality, food and beverage, or hotel operations.
• Demonstrated success improving hospitality, developing leaders, and managing client relationships.
• Strong understanding of dining room service, culinary operations, financial management, and team development.
• Ability to travel regularly among assigned communities and participate in meal services and events.
• Degree in hospitality, food service management, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hospitality and the Resident Experience across five communities, establishing clear standards and observable service quality.
• Strengthen resident and client relationships through regular interaction and feedback loops.
• Develop and support community leaders, coaching Directors of Dining Services and Executive Chefs.
• Advance culinary quality and resident engagement by aligning menus with resident preferences and dietary needs.
• Create inviting dining environments by evaluating spaces and improving presentation.
• Ensure strong operational and financial performance through budgets, staffing, purchasing, and safety compliance.
