Compass Group USA in La Verne, CA is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services I to support day-to-day operations of a medium to large senior living account. You will lead FOH staff, develop talent, manage client relationships, and help drive profitability and financial goals in your assigned area.

Responsibilities include overseeing food quality, training staff, addressing resident feedback, managing costs, and ensuring ServSafe and state guidelines compliance while providing leadership

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience across dining operations in various sectors.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily dining operations, ensure food quality and resident satisfaction.
• Train, schedule, and develop culinary and dining staff.
• Address resident concerns to improve dining experience.
• Monitor food and labor costs, inventory, and budgets.
• Collaborate on menu planning and events.
• Ensure policy execution and leadership coverage.
• Provide leadership in the director's absence.
