Job summary

Southminster is seeking an experienced front-of-house leader to oversee dining services for residents, ensuring welcoming service and high standards of food quality and sanitation.

The role requires several years in front-of-house operations or as an assistant manager, with emphasis on team leadership, cash handling, and resident satisfaction. College degree is preferred but not mandatory, Servsafe knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least three years in front-of-house operations and/or assistant manager roles.
• Servsafe certification and tips helpful but not required.
• Must be able to operate a POS/cash handling with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, organizing, and leadership to meet objectives in sales, costs, and resident satisfaction.
• Ensure warm, responsive service and high food quality and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling and revenue reconciliation per policy.
• Monitor dining experience and resolve resident requests promptly.
• Provide guidance to General Manager when needed.
