Job summary

Southminster, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Dining Server Shift Leader to oversee front-of-house operations, train staff, and ensure resident satisfaction in a busy dining room.

Responsibilities include maintaining service standards, managing cash handling, coordinating with the General Manager, and ensuring food quality and sanitation per policy. This role requires at least 3 years in front-of-house and ServSafe or TIPs is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• At least three years in front-of-house operations and/or assistant management.
• ServSafe and TIPs a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate planning, organizing, training, and leadership for dining service.
• Ensure residents receive friendly, courteous service and consistent food quality.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and adherence to policies.
• Coach staff to meet service, sanitation, and appearance standards.
