Job summary

Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a Supervisor: Executive Chef or Dining Management Team to oversee meal service for residents and guests, ensuring courteous service and adherence to policies. You will lead front-of-house operations, coordinate with kitchen, and support a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work in a team and be a positive team player.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines while following policies.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents and visitors at table, takes orders, and serves.
• Politely and efficiently take meal orders and deliver to kitchen using POS tablets or tickets.
• Serves beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals, and desserts.
• Responds to resident needs, reports issues to management if not resolved.
• Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as needed.
• Busses and cleans dining room tables and chairs.
• Sets tables for next meal service.
• Completes side duties (sugar, creamer, beverage center).
• Performs other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager or Dining Room Coordinator.
