Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services team member in The Villages, FL. You will serve meals to residents with care and courtesy, while being cross-trained in other roles as directed by the Community Executive Chef and Management Team.

You will uphold sanitation standards, communicate effectively in English, and work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Meets state health-related requirements.
• Must meet age-related requirements.
• Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
• Greets residents at table, takes orders, and delivers to kitchen.
• Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as necessary.
• Cleans dining area and resets tables for next meal.
• Maintains food handler permits and CPR/first aid certifications as required.
