Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a friendly dining staff member to serve meals to residents and assist across positions as needed. The role emphasizes courteous service, safety, and cross-training in other duties under the Community Executive Chef and Management Team.

You will maintain sanitation standards, greet residents, take orders, deliver meals, and support dining room operations in a fast-paced environment. Training and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Able to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Meets state health-related requirements.
• Must meet state age-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents at table before taking orders or serving.
• Takes meal orders and delivers to kitchen.
• Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as necessary.
• Busses dining room tables and cleans dining room chairs.
• Sets tables for next meal.
• Completes side duties such as sugar/creamer servings and cleaning beverage center.
• Maintains food handlers permit and CPR/first aid certification as required.
