Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a friendly Server for our community restaurant. You will deliver attentive dining experiences to our senior residents, taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring dietary needs are met with care.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
• At least 6–12 months of experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portions and special requests.
• Serve meals with a smile and maintain a welcoming dining environment.
• Prepare the dining room before meals by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals and maintain cleanliness.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and Cogir standards.
