Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months in serving, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly to create a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and portion sizes.
• Serve meals with a smile and maintain a welcoming dining area.
• Prepare dining room before meals with linens and utensils.
• Clear and reset tables after meals.
• Communicate resident feedback to Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and proper handling of food and beverages.
• Comply with local health department regulations and Cogir standards.
