Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Server for our community restaurant in Salem, Oregon. You will deliver friendly, professional dining experiences for our senior residents, ensuring dietary needs are met and maintaining a welcoming environment during meals and events.

Join a supportive team with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth. Experience in hospitality or senior living is desirable, and a Food Handler Card is a plus.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
• 6-12 months of serving/hospitality/customer service experience is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals are served according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
• Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
