Job summary

Frontier Senior Living seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead the dining room and food services team in our Garland, TX community. You will plan activities, supervise staff, ensure top hospitality and service standards, and greet residents and guests with a focus on exceptional resident experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, four years of supervisory food service experience, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, verbal and written; English language skills adequate to communicate with residents and staff.
• Compassion for elderly and patient demeanor; ability to relate to residents.
• Self-motivated with initiative and reliability in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate all dining room activities in the community.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and discipline dining room staff.
• Manage daily dining room operations to exceed hospitality and service standards.
• Greet residents and guests and assist with requests and suggestions.
• Ensure sanitation procedures and shift schedules are posted and followed.
• Monitor setup, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of dining areas.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and safety regulations.
